Why choose us

Experience You Can Lean On When the Car Acts Up

A good repair shop saves you money in two ways: by fixing it right, and by telling you when something does not need fixing yet. Here is how we try to do both.

Technician working on a vehicle with tools in hand
  • Fifteen years at the bench

The technician working on your vehicle has 15 years in the auto repair industry, long enough to have seen most problems more than once and to know which shortcuts end in a comeback.

  • Repair or replace, laid out honestly

When a big component fails, you see what each route costs and what it buys you, so the decision fits both your budget and your plans for the vehicle.

  • The price before the work

We call with the findings and a number. Nothing gets ordered or installed until you are comfortable with it.

  • Gas, diesel, cars and trucks

From a commuter sedan to a three-quarter-ton diesel, everything gets the same careful process and the same plain explanation.

Not Sure What It Needs? Start With the Free Look

The free vehicle inspection is how every repair here begins. You come away knowing what is going on and what it would take to fix it, with no pressure to go further.

Before the snow flies

A Pre-Winter Check That Covers What Matters

Long, cold winters are the hardest months on any vehicle. A few checks in the fall prevent most of the breakdowns we see after the first deep freeze, and every one of them can be part of your free inspection.

  • Battery and charging

A battery that starts fine in September can quit at ten below. We test it under load and check the alternator's output so you know where it stands.

  • Coolant protection

Coolant that is weak or old can freeze or let the engine run hot on long climbs. We test its strength and look for seeping hoses.

  • Brakes and fluid

Pads, rotors and fluid get a close look, since slick descents and stop-and-go traffic near the resorts ask a lot of them.

  • Tires and alignment

Tread depth, sidewall condition and uneven wear patterns tell us whether your tires and suspension are ready for packed snow.

  • Wipers, lights and heat

Small items, big difference: blades, bulbs, defrost and heater operation all get checked so you can see and stay warm.

  • Diesel cold-start parts

For diesel trucks we test glow plugs or grid heaters and check fuel filters, the usual culprits behind a no-start on a frozen morning.

How a visit works

Four Simple Steps

Most people want two things from a repair visit: to understand what is wrong, and to stay in charge of what happens next. This is how we make sure of both.

  1. Give us a call

Describe the symptom and roughly when it started. We will find a weekday time to look at it that suits your schedule.

  2. We look it over free

The free vehicle inspection covers the problem you described plus the parts that tend to wear alongside it, so the picture is complete.

  3. You hear the plan and the price

We explain what we found in everyday terms, show you what matters most, and give you the cost before any work is booked.

  4. We fix what you approve

The repair covers exactly what you said yes to. Before you pick it up, the vehicle is driven to make sure the original problem is gone.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the questions Fraser Valley drivers ask us most. If yours is not on the list, call and ask; we are happy to talk it through before you decide anything.

What is included in the free vehicle inspection?

We look closely at whatever prompted your call, then check the usual suspects around it: brakes, tires, suspension and steering joints, belts and hoses, fluids and any stored trouble codes. Afterward you get a plain-language rundown and a price for anything that needs attention.

How often should I change my oil?

Your owner's manual sets the interval, and its severe-service column is the one to use if most of your driving is short trips, cold starts or towing. Engines on modern synthetic oil usually go considerably longer between changes than older ones did; the manual and the oil-life monitor are the best guide.

My vehicle drifts left or right. What causes that?

Pulling while driving usually points to tire pressure, alignment or a worn suspension part. Pulling only when you brake often means a sticking caliper or uneven pad wear on one side. The inspection narrows it down.

Will having my car serviced here affect the factory coverage?

Using an independent shop does not by itself void a manufacturer's coverage. What matters is that the maintenance is done on schedule with the right fluids and parts, and that it is recorded, which is how we handle every service.

Is it better to rebuild my gearbox or swap in another one?

It depends on what failed, the condition of the case and the vehicle's mileage. After diagnosing it, we price both options side by side and explain which one gives better value given the miles on it and your plans for it.

How long will my vehicle be at the shop?

Inspections and routine maintenance are often done within the day. Bigger repairs depend on parts availability, and we give you an expected finish time when you approve the work.

How long are your repairs covered?

Every repair we do is backed for 12 months or 12,000 miles. Should one of our repairs let you down inside that window, bring the vehicle back and we will put it right.

Do you only work on certain brands?

No. American, Japanese, Korean and European cars, SUVs and pickups all come through the shop, along with light-duty diesels. If a vehicle needs something specialized we do not have, we will tell you before you bring it in.
